Why Cambridge

What Makes This Location Different

  • CATS Cambridge sits a short walk from King's and Trinity Colleges along the River Cam, punting and a city walking tour are built into the induction week.
  • The city is compact and walkable, students can explore beyond the school day without a long journey, one of the reasons this location suits slightly younger individual students as well as groups.
  • London is under an hour away by train, making it a realistic full-day excursion rather than an overnight trip.

Summer English Courses in Cambridge

Cambridge is a compact, safe university city where students can walk almost everywhere, which makes it a popular first summer school abroad. Our Cambridge course runs at CATS Cambridge, a few steps from King's College and Trinity College, with punting on the River Cam and city walking tours built into the programme.

Who the Cambridge course suits

CATS Cambridge takes groups aged 12-18 and individual students aged 14-17. Students choose between the Classic Course of General English and a STEM & English for Science course for those who want to practise English through science subjects.
